Odissi
Structured Odissi training focused on foundational body conditioning, chauka and tribhangi postures, torso movements, footwork techniques, mudras, rhythmic understanding, abhinaya, repertoire training, and performance-oriented learning from beginner to advanced levels. Training includes systematic development in basic steppings, batu, pallavi, abhinaya items, moksha, and traditional Odissi repertoire, with emphasis on grace, lyrical movement, sculpture-inspired aesthetics, and technical precision.
Students are guided through the traditional framework of Odissi with focus on body alignment, fluidity, expressional depth, rhythm training, and artistic presentation, while developing a strong understanding of the classical vocabulary and stylistic nuances of the form.
Classes are currently conducted exclusively in online format through both group and 1:1 sessions, enabling students across locations to pursue structured Odissi training with flexibility, personalised guidance, and performance-oriented mentorship. Open to children, teenagers, and adult learners with no upper age limit for learning.
